Chinese Laundry ‘Cool Kid’ Boots/H&M Sweater/Target Tee (Underneath)/Paige Jeans/Coach Bag/Francesca’s Sunglasses/Wristology Watch/Necklace was a gift
These booties are called “Cool Kid”, which instantly makes me think of how overrated it is to be one. I never really had the desire to be a “cool kid” when I was young, and for that I am thankful. Being yourself is so much more interesting. This is my “it’s cold and I’d rather stay in my PJ’s under a fuzzy blanket, but I have to be an adult and get stuff done” outfit. Some days it’s tempting to wear leggings and a big sweatshirt out and about, but you never know who you will run into. I cringe at the thought of running into a boss dressed like a homeless person. This sweater is the best because it looks put together, but it’s just as comfortable as my favorite sweatshirt.
P.S. Tomorrow my husband Nate and I are off to NYC! Nate has residency interviews, but since we love NY and never went on a honeymoon, we decided to extend our trip and make it a mini-moon! I cannot even put into words how excited I am. I have always had this major love affair with NYC, so I simply cannot wait!
