Our House Tour, Part 2: Clifford’s Room

Yet again, Clifford has the cutest room in the house. We painted the walls “Babbling Brooke” by Sherwin Williams which is a lot darker and more blue than his old room, and his new room is a lot bigger than the last, but other than that it’s pretty much all the same decor and such. And I like it that way. I just love serene, neutral vibes in a baby’s room.

Cliff man is becoming quite the little climber, so we’ve added a bumper to the crib since he was starting to stick his legs through it, and also a guard on the rail to prevent him from chewing the paint off…#babyprobs

My favorite part: The ribbon garland I made for his room when I was pregnant and the most precious newborn photo of 10-day-old Clifford.

Cliff has got quite the book collection now, so I decided to move them all from a tucked away place to a basket right next to the rocking chair for easy access during our nightly story time.

These IKEA “spice racks” were hung in his old room and I couldn’t wait to get them back up on the wall. Partly because the bottom one houses the monitor, but also because I just love them! I forgot to hang something on the bottom shelf before I took these pics. I now have a few favorite onesies hanging on it.

I love this area for the rocking chair sooooo much better. the chair inevitably moves over time from regular rocking and now there’s much more room for it. I also love that there’s nothing for Cliff to grab onto while he’s on the changing table. In his old room there was always a curtain or something nearby. I have to find a better place for the decor on the changing table. It’s kind of in the way but it looks OK there for now.
