Clifford William: 9 Months

I’ve thought about doing monthly updates like this for a while but I just couldn’t decided what I wanted to talk about. Also, so many months had passed it felt silly to start now! I fill out a baby book for Clifford pretty regularly so I feel like that’s my space to document his milestones, but I finally decided I want a space to show monthly photos because they tend to just get lost in the abyss of my iPhone storage. The plan is to outline a few of his favorite things and our favorite moments from the past month. Of course there will be many pictures too!

Growth: He’s wearing 6-9 month clothes and size 3 diaper. He got his 2 top teeth this month, for a total of 4 teeth. We will find out height and weight at his doctor’s appointment this Wednesday. Everyone comments on how tall he is, and it’s true he is tall. He’s been in the 95-97 percentile for height since he was born, but I feel like his height growth has slowed down a bit, so I’m curious to see where he’s at on Wednesday.

Favorite Food: He likes everything! But his favorites are probably sweet potato and chicken noodle. And he loves when mommy shares her morning banana with him!

Favorite Toys: He really likes chewing on his teething necklace, chasing after rolling balls, banging his blocks on things, and his little blow up bath toys.

Favorite Activities: Being thrown into the air, chewing on EVERYTHING, climbing, giving kisses, watching his puppy, splashing in the bath tub, jabbering, and watching daddy spin his plastic rings on the floor.

Makes Him Laugh: When mommy kisses him on the nose, getting tossed into the air, being tickled, and having something taken out of his hands really fast.

Makes Him Upset: Being laid down on his back for a diaper change or feeding, when something startles him, being put in his high chair, and being put in the car seat (just at first).

Firsts: He said “dada”, went on his first plane ride, went to Florida, saw the ocean, swam in the pool, went to an aquarium to see dolphins, and played in the sand and the grass!
