Get ready Milwaukee, here we come! March 17th was Match Day, and my husband matched in Internal Medicine at Aurora! Initial shock was followed by sadness because it hit me we will be leaving Detroit. I really feel at home here and moving day will be hard, but I’m still excited for what the next 3 years in Milwaukee will bring! This past weekend we made the drive to MKE to look at several housing options, since we will be moving in just 2 months. It was madness to say the least. We found a house that was everything we were looking for and we were so excited about. We couldn’t wait to apply the minute we got home that night. But just hours after we saw it, someone swooped in and rented it! So, it turns out the search for a place to live might be a little more stressful than we thought, but at least we had a good time exploring the city a little bit…
