There’s no better place to look for affordable & trend-driven styles than Forever 21, but I’m sure you didn’t need me to tell you that. I recently thought I was so over this store. The quality is obviously not top-tier being fast fashion and all, not to mention I couldn’t take shopping for trends alongside a gaggle of teenagers any longer. But then I opened up the storage box containing my spring and summer clothes this week and remembered about a couple of dressed I have from ‘forever’ that have (surprisingly) lasted me 4 summers! They were less than $30 but I take exceptional care of my clothes and I let them rest (i.e. don’t wear them every single day). This proved to me that fast fashion doesn’t have to be the money-suck and environmental drain we equate it to. As long as you love the garment enough to keep it around for seasons to come (don’t kid yourself) and you take good care of it, Forever 21 can be a great place to find wardrobe updates.
