How Far Along: 27 Weeks

Baby’s Size: A bunch of bananas

Symptoms: My biggest symptom this month is probably hunger! I’m also pretty tired most days. Other than that I’m feeling good! Just anxious for May. I’m so excited to meet this baby!!

Food Cravings: I love my PopCorners! I also cannot resist a Twizzler or sour patch kid when I see one. Very similar to my pregnancy with Cliffy.

Food Aversions: Nothing really turns me off anymore like it once did. I just don’t care about anything that isn’t salty, sweet, or involve cheese…ha! I will literally skip dinner because it just doesn’t sound good to me.

Wearing: With it being winter, dressing isn’t that adventurous or fun, so I’m wearing the same things I have been for months: leggings, tees, sweaters, and jeans.

Best Moments: We finally came up with a name this month!!! I love it and it seems to be sticking! I had been googling like crazy and reading every baby name book trying to come up with something we both loved, and eventually I came across an article of popular baby boy names from the 1920’s. I was rattling off names left and right and finally at the end of the list I said this name and Nate and I both looked at each other like, “Oh! I like that!”. I also hadn’t realized until my best friend pointed out to me that we are entering another century of 20’s. So that’s a really cool touch. I also have been loving watching this baby dance in my belly. I’ve had major growth this month and this little boy is very busy!

Worst Moments: I’m starting to have some hip pain at times and Braxton hicks have officially started. I forgot how weird it feels when my belly suddenly tightens all over.

Looking Forward to: Meeting him! Also looking forward to getting the glucose test over with next week. I hate that one and I’ll be happy to have it behind me. Spring feels like it’s rapidly approaching too and I can’t wait for the weather to warm up.

Missing: High waisted skinny jeans, caffeine, and an Italian sub sandwich sounds AMAZING.
